At the heart of being… The most wonderful things unfold with ease and spontaneity. When I notice multiple obstacles, I understand there’s a misalignment with my inner core. Sometimes, it means sitting in front of the keyboard and letting words flow to the rhythm of a sweet melody, without knowing what will come out. Other times, it involves stepping out of the house and forgetting every role I play, rediscovering my indeterminate essence and perceiving a universe of possibilities before me. Occasionally, it boils down to dancing and surrendering to the present moment, forgetting the noise of the external world.
It’s simple, yet it can become complicated when people tend to complicate and rationalize even the beauty of a bright day. But the truth is, it’s simple. Just like it is now. Maintaining alignment with one’s core. These days, I often reflect on the fear that accompanies change, a fear that intimidates. I also think about the feeling of freedom I experience when I overcome this fear and move forward. And I always distrust those who lack a sense of humor.
How does one find their way? Their vocation? I believe it’s not about searching or discovering but rather something that resides within us, in our core, ready to be revealed. How to turn a vocation into a job? For me, the measure is joy and the feeling of lightness that pervades me. When I feel happy, light, and recharged, I know I’m on the right path, connected to my core. Otherwise, I understand something is amiss.
Understanding the direction is the greatest challenge. Finding a way back to the center often presents an obstacle. Meditation is a means to listen to the silent voice of our core, but I believe everyone can find a personal method to establish that connection. Joy always remains our reference point.
